01B / HEAT SOURCE STRATEGY

Choose the source.

Design the lift.

Air, water and recoverable waste heat each change the technical and commercial case.

THE APPROACH

Efficiency follows the temperature lift.

Air‑to‑water and water‑to‑water describe how heat is collected and delivered. Waste heat is a source opportunity that can feed a water‑to‑water system. The available source temperature, flow and operating hours determine the achievable performance.

WHAT WE DO

01

Air-to-water

Takes heat from ambient air to produce hot water. Straightforward to site, with performance varying by weather and water temperature.

02

Water-to-water

Takes heat from a suitable water or glycol loop. Source temperature and flow can be steadier when a reliable loop exists.

03

Waste heat recovery

Uses rejected heat from cooling or processes. A warmer usable source can reduce the lift and improve COP, subject to site conditions.

SYSTEM THINKING

A smaller lift can mean a better COP
