About Geckon
Engineering-Led Industrial Energy
Geckon was founded by Christoph Beluz, a mechatronics engineer, electrician and economist.
Before founding Geckon, Christoph spent close to a decade delivering, commissioning and maintaining mechanical and electrical systems across a wide range of facilities — including hospitals, shopping centres, cold storage sites and industrial plants.
That experience shaped the way Geckon operates today.
Large facilities teach a simple lesson: when a system goes live, it must work.
Performance, reliability and accountability matter far more than theory.
How We Think
We approach energy systems as operators experience them — as part of a working plant, not as standalone assets.
That means:
Engineering comes first
Commercial logic matters
Systems are designed to be operated and maintained
Performance is measured over time, not at handover
Decarbonisation is not a product.
It is an ecosystem that must function reliably within real operational constraints.
Geckon works with clients to design and integrate whole-of-site energy systems, including:
Heat pumps and industrial thermal systems, including high-efficiency configurations incorporating mechanical vapour recompression (MVR)
Process heat electrification
Electrical loads, motors and control systems
Solar, storage and grid interaction
Energy-as-a-Service (EAAS) delivery models
Rather than delivering individual components in isolation, we focus on how entire facilities consume, create and store energy.
Industrial energy systems don’t end at commissioning.
Geckon designs systems with operation and support in mind from day one — including active monitoring, performance visibility and ongoing optimisation where required.
By maintaining visibility over how systems perform in real operation, we help identify issues early, support reliability, and ensure systems continue to deliver against their original design intent.
Long-term performance isn’t accidental.
It’s designed, monitored and supported.
Accountability by Design
When Geckon delivers a system, we expect to remain accountable for its performance.
This means designing for maintainability, supporting systems after handover, and aligning technical outcomes with commercial reality — whether projects are delivered via traditional capex or EAAS structures.
Reliability and trust are built over years, not at commissioning.
